Thirty-nine Transition Year students joined us at DIT last week for a week of engineering-related activities. They spent two days building and coding robots and competing them in a variety of competitions. I’ve picked a section of my favorite images from the first robotics day, taken by one of our colleagues in Kevin Street DIT.
RoboSlam is an ultra low-cost robot building workshop for beginners using real electronic components. Our aim is to create a recipe for a €10 robot that’s easy to build and easy to teach others to build.
