Learning to Teach Bot-Building

To prepare for this week’s RoboSlam event, conducted for secondary school students, the staff of DIT really pulled together.  A cadre of lecturers learned how to build robots just before Easter.

We were testing the system… making sure the parts fit together and the robots functioned well.  And in doing so, we learned to advise others in the process of robot construction.  Many of the participants in the pre-Easter event came out last week to help the high school students build their ‘bots.
